He was the brother of Będzin entrepreneur Gustav Weinzieher and the father of Dr. Jan (Jakub) Weinzieher, murdered in the Katyń massacre, and Michał Weinzieher , a lawyer, executed by the Germans in April 1944 in Kraków. 

He received his medical diploma in 1897 and began his practice in Bedzin. In 1907 he was arrested for his political activities. He was connected to orthodox and later Zionist groups. In 1909 he became the president of the Society of Medical Aid for the Poor and Sick of the Jewish Faith „Linas Chacedek”; he was also the organizer and president of the Jewish Charity Association (1918). In 1913 he became the director of the district hospital in Będzin. Since 1917 he was a councilor of the City Council; he was also the Chairman of the Board of the Jewish Community. He sat three terms of office (1919- 1927 and 1938-1939) as a nonpartisan Member of Polish Parliament Sejm. During the Nazi occupation he became a director (15. June 1942) of a Jewish hospital in Podzamcze Street. He refused to accept false Paraguay passport, sent to him by representatives of the Jewish Agency from Switzerland, because he did not want to leave his sick sister.
