12 years after the first renovation of the former Jewish house of prayer, we obtained funds from the Silesian Provincial Conservator of Monuments and the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sports to carry out restoration, refreshment and supplementary works in the Cukermanów prayer house.
This is very important, because after so many years, hundreds of visits to this place, there were many defects in the historic polychromes. In addition, in the meantime, we rearranged the space – so that you could better feel the atmosphere of the former prayer house.
The house of prayer is closed to visitors for the time being.
