The Renovation
In the year 2009, due to our efforts, the murals inside the House of Prayer have been registered in the Silesian Registry of Monuments. Moreover, we managed to collect funds to conduct their professional renovation and maintenance.
During the Summer of the year 2009, a group of well-experienced restorers under the supervision of Agnieszka Trzos – conducted an effortful, two-month renovation of the murals, which condition at that time was far from good.
The restoration works have been accomplished by the courtesy of the Silesian Voivodeship Renovator of Mounuments in Katowice.
