We hope for the presence of You all; those who feel connected to Zaglebie by family roots, as well as those who just see themselves as our friends. This meeting will be a great opportunity to bring “Zaglebie people” from all over the world closer together.

9.30-10.30 – Sosnowiec, Holocaust commemoration ceremony
11.15 – 13.15 – Gliwice, visiting former Bet Tahara and Jewish cemetery. Presentation of the concept of the new Museum of Jews in Upper Silesia. Lunch
13.45 -16.45 – Zabrze, visiting GUIDO – the Historic Coal Mine
17.30 – Bytom, visiting former Jewish prayer house
18.30 – return, dinner in Bedzin
4.09.2015, Friday – Będzin
10.00 – meeting at Cumulus Hotel in Bedzin
10.15-12.15 – walking tour in Bedzin
12.30 – 14:00 – 5-year report – activities of the Brama Cukermana Foundation. Introduction to the project “JEWISH CITY MAP” (Brama Cukermana)
14.30 16.30 – Open air lunch at the Castle Hill
17.15 – Meeting of “Zaglebie people” – guests and locals. (Bedzin City Library)
19.30 – Shabbat in Brama Cukermana (dinner)
Cost of participation: 120 Euro / person
(the amount includes all travel expenses, entrance fees and meals)
